Vicky Mc Carthy graduated from the University of Limerick with a BA (European Studies, Law & German) degree in 1994.  She has a postgraduate diploma in Entrepreneurship from the University of Limerick.  She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1999.  She joined N J Downes & Co. in 2002. 

She practises mainly in the areas of District Court, Circuit Court and High Court litigation (including personal injury for both plaintiff and defendant), family law and employment law.  She also practises in environmental law.
